Abandoned Amusement Park in New Orleans

they say New orleans is haunted… this has proved the theory 100%

I was sending photos like this to everyone when I started writing Nightmare in Silver. There is something uniquely disturbing about abandoned Amusement Parks.

I’d like to think I could be, if put in the right situation. I’m terrified of physical pain; I don’t like feeling it, I don’t like the idea of it, etc. But if I had to go through something terribly painful to save someone I love or prevent something from happening to them, I think I would do it. Because the one thing I can’t stand the most is the idea of the ones I love being in pain that I could have prevented.

Statice: What do you like to remember?

I like to remember the summers I’ve had. Summer has always been the best time for me. It means enough sleep and little stress and community theater with absolutely wonderful people.

I appreciate small acts of kindness, the simple things that can improve someone’s day that don’t cost the giver anything at all. I appreciate art of all kinds. I appreciate talent. I appreciate the fundamental goodness of mankind.
